And Now For the Big News...

Barbara won the Rita (equivalent to winning an Oscar for you non-romance writers) for her book Adios to My Old Life in the category of best contemporary single title. She looked beautiful in her gown before the ceremony and even better holding that statue afterwards. I’m so very proud of her for writing an amazing book, for winning such a prestigious award and for making me look damn good for having such a talented writer on my list. Who can boast all of those accomplishments at once?

I added this last picture after the fact because I realized I didn’t get any pics with Barb. So thanks Alesia (Alyssa Day to all of you Atlantis Rising fans). From left to right is Marianne Mancusi (who has a fabulous new book out called Moongazer), me, Barb Caridad Ferrer (who won for Adios to My Old Life so don’t forget to grab a copy) and Alesia Holliday (who writes as Alyssa Day as well).
