The Great Blog Tour
My author Caridad Pineiro is embarking on a blog tour (which is a great way to meet new readers and fans). She sent me a link to an interview she did with a blogger named Henri. Now their interview was part info session about her exciting Nocturne series (the latest of which is Blood Calls) and part love letter (Henri pines for Caridad and wonders if she has insider knowledge on vampirism). And when Henri waxes poetic about Cari’s raven dark hair and her cute little Spanish accent, I roared with laughter (and since it was 8 in the morning swallowed a large gulp of coffee the wrong way). Caridad doesn’t have raven dark hair or a cute little Spanish accent, but she does have damn good books. Check them out here and check out the blog post here. Caution: do not drink as you read or you too will swallow your coffee the wrong way.

Bonjour Mademoiselle Caren,
You have made Henri a happy ghost this morning and I resisted the temptation to appear nonchalant about what is said about ol' Henri on your blog, but I have to say...YOU ROCK. In case you are not of the 21st century like myself, it is similar to having twenty bestselling authors come begging for you to represent them. I bid you adieu...now gotta tell all my ghostie friends...;o)
Henri de Montmorency
LOL! Well...he IS a ghost afterall, and perhaps his perception of colors is not the same as ours.
He is a most entertaining ghost. I will be hosting him next month.

When Henri is around, I am discovering it is best not to be drinking anything for exactly the reason you have discovered. But had you been drinking beer, he might have come and helped you finish it.
I am hosting him next month and have been warned.

Henri has managed to seduce all 3 women in "Real Women Wear Red." :)
I am giving all of you fair warning!!! Stay away from my man, Henri is mine!!! Mine I tell ya!!!
MAHHAAWW MAHAWW
Seriously though, love your blog Karen, I am going through something with my cover of my family history. The publisher says the cover I have is not marketable, kind of hard to let go of the one that I had for two years, it's got my grandmother
and parents on it and if I have to take them off, mommy is not going to be happy. Maybe I will just keep some of the old ones to keep her happy, or maybe I will just have two covers.
Now I am off to the liquor store to buy more booze to keep Henri hap hap hap happy so that he won't cancel our date, well not exactly date, he is going to come party on my blog. Would rather keep him all to myself but he demands to be out in society, I hate taking him in public he is a terrible flirt, I've already gotten into several skirmishes over him, and you can't do what you can in real life to a cheating man, the knife just goes right through
Fighting over a ghost? Hmmm...intriguing...I will definitely have to check out the blog tour of Henri.
